The four wind development projects in the British Columbian Peace Region will generate up to 302 megawatts of clean energy — enough to power 75,000 households when operating. Besides providing power, Finavera’s projects will stimulate the local economy, creating jobs today while we generate the clean power of tomorrow.

Located in northeastern BC, the Peace region is one of three areas in the province that have prime wind energy resources.
Ireland
County Galway
In the province of Connacht, Finavera’s project site is located 25km northwest of Galway City. Resource assessments identified wind speeds of 8.9 meters per second.
