- PERMIT STATUS
- Finavera Renewables filed, and has been granted, a preliminary permit application to investigate the feasibility of a wave power project with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in November 2007.
- POTENTIAL FACILITY SIZE
- The Humboldt County project is originally planned as a 2 MW demonstration plant. The FERC permit is being pursued with the expectation of expanding the project to 100 megawatts.
